Understanding the Neurodivergent Brain

Special Interest -
Spring/Summer 2024

Gain deeper insights into neurodiversity & its impact on individuals & society in this course! Join us as we discuss the basic structural differences, difficulties and appreciations in functioning, and basic lifestyle changes that can support and enhance brain functioning. This will not be a diagnostic or medical related event. It is not intended to take the place of working with your doctor or provider and no individual therapeutic advice will be offered other than to refer to the appropriate mental health care provider. It is intended to give information and recommendations based on the literature and to enhance and compliment current treatments. Our hope is that having discussions and sharing information will enhance individual self esteem, maximize brain function, and promote wellness throughout the neurodivergent community.

Your instructor, Linda Zarrett is a clinical nurse specialist, board certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and an ADHD Certified Clinical Service Provider.
